Almost back to normal

Our service provider seems to be getting things back under control and so we hope to resume normal posting soon. It seems that some clients had been overloading a server cluster (unfortunately our server was on that cluster) and this is what has been affecting this site.
We shall keep an eye on it over this weekend and see if it is fully recovered before we resume normal service.
